DJ Alan Cameron
iv'e been spinning nearly 10 years now in room red.. for the first 5 years i was part of the "livin' in up" DJ duo Al and Rick. We started the sundays as a "one off" to showcase what we thought people would enjoy and dance to. our nights took off straight away and we had people constantly asking us what the tracks were and who were the artists. We then took on the friday nights .
in our early days our tracks were all american artists and were mostly album tracks which were never released as uk singles... we practised constantly and tried our hand at remixing instrumentals from one artist and a beat from another... our inspiration was a american label called av8 records owned by dance mega producer armand van helden... trust me not all av8s were good but most were floorfillers... vinyl huntin was a addiction that took me to london, miami and new york.
trying to persuade check in staff at international airports that a full record bag of 12's was all good for hand luggage was a challenge.
digital music has changed dj'n forever and my choice is ranes, serato scratch live..
doin a gig with shortee blitz made me see the way things were goin and on a visit to new york I eventually picked up my serato and stopped carrying 4 bags of heavy records.
I do miss the hunt for records and the promos that came my way... the days of playing a track that half the clubbers have already heard or have downloaded is over!
the next thing to come in the past two years has been the crossover in music which has taken place between dance producers and hip hop or urban artists... I think this has brought together clubbers who say "oh I dont like hip hop" or the other.
many of my old friends who get out once a year expect me still to be playing the same set I was playing 7 or 8 years ago this would be boring and the young people wouldnt know the tracks. I still play music i think clubbers will enjoy and do still play older tracks during my nights... the arrival of uk talent has been massive for the urban scene and has proven to our american friends we can compete.
my influences have been some of the djs i have been lucky enough to have met and played alongside... trevor nelson.. shortee blitz.. swerve.. ronnie herel.. g child.. manny norte and my good friend and producer fergie at excentric.
cheers

Martin Langer
Martin Langer started DJing in 1990 after attending early rave events such as STREETrave & Freedom. While attending these events he knew that he wanted to make it as a DJ and started putting on his own nights in his local area. He became resident in the Fubar in the mid-90’s and was the only DJ to play 2 sets in one night; one in the main room as his hardcore moniker ‘DJ Obsession’ and one in the 2nd room playing house music. It was then that he was recognised as one of the most versatile DJs in Scotland. No matter what style of music he was playing, he never disappointed.
Over the years he’s built up a strong fan base under his DJ Obsession name with headline gigs across Scotland and beyond, but it’s house music where he truly shines and will blow your socks off at Elektrodisko. He has appeared on the same bill as many of dance music’s biggest DJs including Carl Cox, Erick Morillo, Sister Bliss and 2 of the biggest Dutch DJs in the world; Tiësto & Armin van Buuren. He is a regular on the line-ups for the massive events held by Colours at Braehead Arena (Glasgow) & Ingliston (Edinburgh), where his knowledge of house music is always something to be appreciated.
His influences from years gone by include Armand van Helden, Roger Sanchez, Tony Humphries, Danny Tenaglia and N-Joi; it’s clear to see why he’s so good at what he does with influences like that. Nowadays it’s DJs/producers like Chris Lake, Mark Knight, Steve Angello and huge international names such as David Guetta & Swedish House Mafia that inspire him to pick up his house headphones once again. You’re in good hands when it comes to a DJ set from the one & only Martin Langer.
John Devlin
John started out dj'ing from the age of 14 after being inspired from a DJ who played regular at his local under 18's nightclub, from there he started to buy vinyl and build up a rather rare and classic collection of dance music which again led him to attend these huge dance festivals such as Rezerection, STREETrave, Awesome 101. Week in week out to watch his favourite DJs from all around the world perform.
After securing a residency at the Fubar, John went on to appear all over Scotland playing in venue's such as The Arches, Archaos and The Tunnel to name a few; playing for some of the coolest club brands such as Colours, Cream, Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi, M8 ...the list goes on. As well as his club appearances, John featured on radio shows such as Clyde 1 & Beat 106 as a guest and also presented his very own show on joy fm (Stirling).
John's musical style ranges from soulful/funky house through to electro/progressive. DJs like fairly "jack" master funk, Eric Morillo, Masters at Work, Danny Rampling, Pete Tong, Carl Cox, Steve Angello, Arno Costa, Laid Back Luke, Axwell, Sebastion Ingrosso shaped the DJ that John Devlin is today and if it wasn't for them showing their music ability, style and unique taste they all have who knows where it would have led.
John is also currently in the early stages of some production work which he is hoping to release in the near future as well as holding down several guest appearances over in Ibiza every year and is working on some permanent projects. He’ll rock your Elektrodisko socks off!
